"The steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord…." (Psalm 37:23)

Rev. Lloyd Allen Pangburn was such a man. Born at Cumberland Bay, NB on October 6, 1940, he was a son of the late James A. and Beatrice L. (Ripley) Pangburn.

Lloyd was a retired Pentecostal Minister having pastored in several locations throughout N.B. and Maine. One of his favorite scriptures was Psalm 27:4 " One thing I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and enquire in His temple."

On Monday, June 29, 2015, Rev. Lloyd Allen Pangburn completed his earthy journey and went home to be with his Lord and Savior. His passing occurred peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital with his dear wife Shyanne by his side. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Shyanne (Smith) Pangburn; his son, Allen Pangburn and wife Molly of Rhode Island, USA and two much loved grandchildren, Levi Pangburn and Margot Pangburn; also his brother Launie of Blackville and a nephew Trevor. Lloyd was loved and will be greatly missed by his father-in-law, Harry Smith and family and by Pastor Barry Seymour who was like a son to Lloyd. He also leaves behind a host of treasured friends.

Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruth "Ruthie" Pangburn.

The family will receive visitors at Sunset Church, 429 Clements Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A service celebrating the life of Rev. Lloyd Allen Pangburn will be held at Sunset Church on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joe Beesley officiating followed by interment in the United Church Cemetery, Cumberland Bay, NB at 3:00 PM. Lloyd had a passion for the land of Israel and his wish was that any donations made in his memory be made to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews or LIFE Outreach International.
