At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday June 5, 2015, Peter Derek Hutchinson of Fredericton passed away at the age of 69. Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the late Helmer and Inez (Berman) Hutchinson. Peter worked as a university professor, having taught in Ottawa and Halifax. He loved music, especially opera and classical music.

He is survived by one sister, Heather Bourne of Calgary.

No visitation or service by his request. A private interment will be held at a later date.
