It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Sgt. Kevin P. Aitchison on April 4, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jennifer Duquesne and loving father of daughters Cyan and Evey. Born on February 6, 1974 a son of Elysse (Myers) Aitchison and the late Peter Aitchison. Kevin spent 18 years in the Canadian Military, beginning his career in Petawawa with the RCD’s and as an Air Weapons Specialist at CFB Gagetown.

In addition to his wife, children and mother he is also survived by his sister Lynette Nelson; brothers Gary Aitchison (Jane), Lee Aitchison (Corrine), Colin Aitchison (Donna), Jason Aitchison (Jamie); mother and father-in-law Charlie and Gayle Duquesne; brother-in-law Josh Duquesne (Kyla); sister-in-law Jessica Duquesne; many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visitation on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Kevin’s funeral will be celebrated at St Luke’s Chapel, CFB Base Gagetown, on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:30 AM with Padre Kevin Stiva officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
