It is with sad hearts that the family of Brian Garland "Ricky" Greer announce his passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Ricky was 64. Born November 4, 1951 in Fredericton, he was a son of Gertrude (McDougall) Greer and the late Garland Greer.

Rickey loved and was loved dearly by his family and especially by his wife, Anna Rose (Flowers) Greer who predeceased him in January of this year. Ricky was an amazing friend, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He loved to work around the yard and especially loved working on trucks and cars.

Ricky leaves behind his dear mother, Gertrude; his daughter, Shawna-Marie Greer (Donnie) and his son, Brian Greer (Karen); four much loved grandchildren, Jeffrey Powell (Robyn), Meagan Greer (Ross), Kayla Ryan and Jeremy Sprague and one precious great-grandson, Aiden Greer. Ricky also leaves behind a sister, Sherrie Clendenning (Dalton) and brothers, Terry Greer, Hal Greer (Pam) and Greg Greer (Ann); several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father Garland and wife Anna Rose, Rickey was predeceased by his grandparents, Frederick and Elizabeth McDougall and a nephew, Christopher Garland Clendenning.

Visitation will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 2 PM to 4 PM followed by a memorial service from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM. Rev. Paul Thompson will officiate. Interment will be held later in the spring when his ashes will be laid to rest with his loving wife.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and Dr.’s on the DECH Palliative Care Unit especially Dr. Russell King, Karen and Jane. Your kindness and exceptional care will never be forgotten.
