The passing of Louis Charles Scott of Fredericton NB occurred on January 25, 2015 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, he was 97.  A son of the late George and Elsie (Brown) Scott, he was born in Fredericton NB on June 17, 1917.

Retired from the Federal Government in the Department of Transportation (Airport), he was a member of the Knights of Apatheist as well as the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4.

The last surviving member of his immediate family, Louis is survived by one son Ronald Scott (Ruth Staples) of Fredericton, one step-daughter Donna Hefler Fisher of Saint John NB, one step-son David Hefler Jr. of Shelburne N.S, one granddaughter Leslie, one great grandson Keith as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Howard and Ken Scott as well as his wife Muriel Scott (McConaghy).

At Louis’s request there will be no visitation. A graveside memorial service will take place in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension in the spring. For those who wish, memorial donations in memory of Louis can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
