Fredericton - Mary Hallett passed away on October 31, 2014 at York Manor.

Mary was born in Hortonville, Nova Scotia August 1, 1914 to Ritchie and Clara Bliss McCullough and moved to Keswick Ridge as a young woman. She married Charles W. Hallett and lived in Fredericton for over 70 years.

For the past 2 years Mary was a resident at York Manor. She was a home maker, worked as a book keeper and enjoyed crafts of all kinds.

Mary is survived by 2 daughters, Charlene Stavenow (Murray) and Sandra Hawkins (Preston), grandchildren Kelli Cole, Heather Gowette, Andrea Child and Leanne Perrin, great grandchildren are Amanda Brigan, Chelsea and Megan Finkbeiner, Alysha and Matthew Child, Carter and Spencer Perrin. Robert McCullough, step brother survives her as well.

The family wishes to thank the staff and care givers at York Manor for their love and kindness to Mary over the past 2 years. They all helped her celebrate her 100th birthday on August 1, 2014 when family and friends gathered in Fredericton.

Arrangements are under the care of Bishop's Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at this time. The family plans a memorial service at a later date.
