Retiring as Station Manager, Mactaquac in 1992, Bob enjoyed a 36 year career with NB Power.  He made friends easily and valued his friendships across the province.  He began his career in Chatham Miramichi, then to Beechwood-Tobique, Grand Falls, Musquash, Milltown and Mactaquac.

An avid vegetable gardener, fisherman and hunter, he loved the Miramichi and enjoyed many years entertaining friends and family at his camp.  There are many stories and memories that will endure, of a life lived to the fullest.

The family would like to thank Dr. Ian MacDonald, Dr. Patrick Feltmate and the wonderful and dedicated staff in Tower 2 at York Care Centre.  Bob received excellent and loving care and we are truly grateful and appreciative of the attention and comfort he received while a resident.

Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Thursday, October 23 from 3:30 to 5 pm and 7:30 to 9:30 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 24 at 11:00 AM at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 1 William Street, Fredericton, with Rev.
