The passing of our beautiful mother and grandmother Rose Milley, occurred at home in Oromocto, NB on Thursday, July 24, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fredericton on August 30, 1954, she was a daughter of the late John and Stella (Paul) Sacobie.
Rose was a very active member in her community in which she took great pride and loved. She was a great advocate for supporting all improvements, such as building the children’s playground, working and volunteering with the youth and elders on many programs, as well as a strong Christian belief, carrying her through her illness and life as well.
Survived by her children Nelson (Andrea), Lisa (Bruce), Katherine (Kevin), father of Rose’s grandson David, and Julieanna; grandchildren Rachel, Andrew, Joshua, Hayden and Logan; sisters Mildred (Dave), Sally (Kenneth); brother Ivan (Diane); three godchildren; several nieces and nephews. "She will be forever loved and never forgotten."
Predeceased by her sisters Jeanette, Elenor, Julie and Mary and a brother Kenneth.
Resting at 143 Waasis Road, Oromocto where visitation will be held on Sunday July 27th and Monday July 28th, 2014. A funeral mass will be held from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Oromocto on Tuesday July 29th, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Father Peter Melanson officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road (458-1885).
