It is with great sorrow that we the family of Ethel M. Livingstone , of  Fredericton , NB announce her passing on, April 16, 2014 at the Dr. Chalmers  Regional Hospital. Born in Boiestown, NB on September 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Christina (Hinchey) MacNabb and wife of the late Walter Gordon Livingstone.

Ethel was a member of the United Church and a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #4 Fredericton. She retired from Atlas Construction where she was employed as an Office Manager.

She is survived by her children Steven of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Margo Higgins (Edison McEvoy) of Green Hill; 6 grandchildren Joshua, Melissa and Jeffrey Smith, Natasha Higgins, Julie Ann and Amy Lyn Livingstone; 2 great grandchildren Anthony and London; sisters Jeannie MacLean (Eugene) and Dorothy McMonagle; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Carl and Allison MacNabb.

Visitation will be on Sunday April 20, 2014 at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road from 2-4 & 7–9 PM. A funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday April 21, 2014 at 2 PM with Rev. Ellen Beairsto officaiting. Interment will be held at a later date in the Sunny Bank Cemetery. The Ladies Auxilliary Branch #4 will hold a tribute service at the conclusion of the funeral service.

Memorials may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
