At the Oromocto Public Hospital on April 10, 2014 Harold F. Parker of Fredericton, NB passed away at the age of 84. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of the late Rainsford and Amelia (Blizzard) Parker and husband of the late Faye (McNerlin) Parker. Harold was employed for 33 years with the City of Fredericton. He loved his weekly card games with family and friends as well as playing horseshoes.

He is survived by a daughter Linda Guthrie (Robert) of Fredericton; two granddaughters Shea Rogers and Carrie Urquhart (Cory) all of Fredericton; four great grandsons Kyle and Eric Rogers and Jacob and Connor Urquhart; one sister Lorraine Chambers of Nepean, ON; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a grandson-in-law Geoffrey Rogers; brothers and sisters Gladys, Effie, Leon, Thelma, Royce, Murrell, George, Ronald and Gordon, and brother-in-law Reg Chambers.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road  Fredericton with visitation on Saturday April 12, 2014 from 6-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday April 13, 2014 from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 PM with the Venerable John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be held in the Forest Hill Cemetery at a later date.
