It is with great sadness we the family of Audrey G. Anderson age 91, of Fredericton, NB announce her passing, peacefully at home, which was her greatest wish on Monday, April 7, 2014. Born on May 15, 1922 in Victoria Mills, NB, she was the daughter of  the late Frank and Margaret (Goodine) Briggs and wife of the late Gerald Byron Anderson.

Audrey is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by her 100 year old sister-in-law Marie Briggs; special nephew Perley Drummond; chosen family Lillian Canning, Marion Jodoin and Lee McNeil; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Clarence and Donald Briggs, her sisters Helen Travis, Ruby Larsen, Geraldine McCormick and Eva Drummond.

Audrey was a beautiful person with a great sense of humour. One of her greatest loves when she was younger was dancing. She was a great fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and loved playing cards or going for long drives.

Respecting Audrey’s wishes, and following cremation there will be no visitation. A private graveside burial will be held at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road have been entrusted with arrangements.
