The passing of Helen Daisy Jackson of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the age of 87. Helen was born in Wolfville, NS on September 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice (Harper) Best.

Helen is survived by a son, Danny B. Jackson of Saint John, NB and a daughter, Linda Pearson of Sussex, NB; four grandchildren, Zachary and Jamie Pearson, Carrie Jackson and Amy Shugar; three beautiful great grandchildren. Helen is also survived by a very special friend and companion, Don Cook and his children, Jim, Lester, Gary, Brenda, Tammy and Sharon.

Besides her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, John Jackson.

Helen is resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, with no visitation or funeral service by personal request. A graveside committal service is planned for June 14, 2014 in the Evergreen Cemetery, Sussex, NB.
