Eileen Patricia deCourval
1947-2010
The passing of Eileen P. deCourval of Fredericton occurred on February
20, 2010 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. She was 62. Born in
Ontario, she was an adopted daughter of the late Patrick and Laurette
Flanagan.
Eileen attended Smythe Street Cathedral Church.
Surviving are her husband Yves deCourval, children Linda Crawford (Doug) of Fredericton, Nathalie Simons (Darrin) of Bermuda, Talitha deCourval (Chris Booker) of Ripples, and Rebecca Thygesen (Nick) of New Jersey; four grandchildren Rebecca, Kayla, Noah, and Foster; two great grandchildren Taylor and Dylan.
Cremation has taken place, with a funeral service to be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 7PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Verner Drost officiating. Memorials may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Fund, Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund or K.A.R.M.A. Lincoln Veterinarian Clinic. Following the funeral service a reception will be held in the Fellowship Hall at Smythe Street Cathedral Church.
