Surrounded by the love of her family, on June 01, 2020, Ruth Titus passed away peacefully at Nashwaak Villa Nursing Home at the age of 88. She was born in Fredericton NB on December 19, 1931 and was a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Clowater) Titus.

Ruth was a member of Fredericton Salvation Army Community Church. She will be remembered by all for her love of traveling on her bus tours, Beulah Camp, her social gatherings with friends and family. She was the most selfless woman who loved each and every one of us completely, as we did her. She was never seen without her Kleenex and mints and you could often find her handing them out at church to keep the kids quiet. Ruth previously worked in retail in different locations including Hart Shoes, the Daily Gleaner, and the Salvation Army Thrift Store.

A loving, devoted, and caring mom, she is survived by daughter, Sherry-Joy Beddow; sons, Harry Beddow (Laura), Peter Beddow; grandchildren, Angela Brewer (Nathan), Melissa Beddow, Corey Smith (Jessie), Zane Beddow (Nekayla), Zack Beddow, Robert Harding, Amanda Harding, Tammy Smith, Heather Smith, Colby Beddow (Kara), Blake Beddow (Belinda), Peter Jr. Beddow, Kim Sorchan (Mike) as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her daughter Elaine Smith (Jim) and her son Paul Beddow; sisters, Lila and Joy as well as her son in law, Don and daughter in law Jackie.

We would love to extend our sincere gratitude to all the staff at the nashwaak villa nursing home for all their compassion, care and love. They each treated nan as if she was their own. We  never had to wonder of her safety and level of care she was given during her time there. It made being away from her a little more easier when we couldn’t be by her side.  You all hold such a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much. Angela and Melissa

Due to the current health crisis there will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home on Saturday June 6th, followed by a private interment in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. For those who wish memorials may be made to Nashwaak Villa Nursing Home Fund or the Alzheimer’s Society. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be made at www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
