Raynald (Ray) Boucher, 71, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 26, 2020.

Ray lived a life filled with adventure and has resided and traveled from coast to coast. Even overseas for a few years. His early occupations were equally varied, some examples being deep-sea fisherman, miner, and lighthouse guardian. It was in the 70s that Ray began a career in computing, at the time when this field was growing rapidly. This eventually resulted in a move to Fredericton, New Brunswick for consulting job in 1981. The contract was only for six months, but Ray remained in New Brunswick for the rest of his days.

Ray enjoyed the great outdoors in all its forms, be it hunting, fishing, having a beer around the campfire, or training and walking his furry companion, Whisky. When not outside, Ray could usually be found reading a book or watching a movie. He loved action and science fiction.

Ray is survived by his wife, Jolene Ravary Boucher; son, Naxius Boucher; and younger brother, Daniel Boucher.

We would like to thank Horizon Health for all services provided to our family during Ray's battle with cancer, especially during these difficult and unpredictible times.

At his request, there will be no visitation or celebration of life at this time.       Online condolences and the sharing of memories can be expressed through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
