It is with much sadness that the family of Richard Eugene Pugh announces his passing at the Dr Everett Chalmers hospital on May 04, 2020. Richard was born in Saint John NB, on December 26, 1941 to his parents Elizabeth (Munn) and Horace Pugh.  After the death of is mother at a young age, Richard was fortunate to be given the gift of a new stepmother, the late Vesta Pugh.

Richard was a former member of the Masons, Shriners, he loved horse hauls, Nascar and tennis. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union and then became owner and operator of Pugh’s Welding.

Richard is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving and caring wife of 38 years, Eileen (Camp) Pugh. He is survived by his stepbrothers, Larry (Agnus) of Aurora, Ontario, and Gary (Sue) of Ottawa Ontario; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Peter) Snowball of Fredericton and Gloria Clark of Fredericton as well as several nieces and nephews.

Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, have been entrusted with the arrangements. There will be no visitation or service due to the Covid 19 restrictions currently in place. A private burial will take place in the Nasonworth Baptist Cemetery.  The family asks that in memory of Richard during this trying time, please take a moment to appreciate the ones you love and care about.
