The passing of Mark Donald Frederick Stevenson of Fredericton occurred on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton. He was 64. Born in Fredericton NB, he was a son of the late Donald Spencer and Anita Harriet (Pollock) Stevenson.

Mark loved hunting and horse racing and was retired after working for twenty-eight years at Air Canada as a ground handler.

Survived by his daughter Stephanie Matchett of Gatineau, Quebec, one son Corey Stevenson of Fredericton NB, and their mother Nicole, two sisters Susan Downey (Mike) of Saint John NB, Ellen Stevenson of Fredericton NB, nephew Dr. Mitchell Downey and his wife Michaela and their children Michael and Lauren all of Saint John NB, several cousins and friends.

Due to the current situation with Covid 19, there will be a graveside committal service in the Acton Cemetery in Harvey Station NB at a later date.    For those who wish, memorial contributions in Mark’s memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the SPCA.
