It is with deep sorrow that we share the peaceful passing of Frieda Johanna (Dörflinger) Weissenhorn on April 22, 2020 at the age of 91. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.    

Her kindness and generosity so touched everyone she encountered. From the time she was a child, she always took such delight in helping family, friends and anyone needing a little assistance.  Aside from family, her gardens and home were amongst her greatest joys. She always treasured time with friends and enjoyed sharing her incredible sense of humour. She loved doing her crafts and was especially talented at needlepoint. She had a great love for the outdoors.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Franz and two children Franc (Beste) and Jean (Shawn) and granddaughters, Jordan and Johanna, brother-in-law, Kurt Schleith and family (Okanagan Mission, BC).  She was predeceased by her parents and sisters Verena, Emma and Marianne.

We wish to acknowledge and thank the doctors and staff of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, the Oromocto Public Hospital and, in particular, Drs. Khaleduzzaman, Gordon McDonald, the ward nurses, Bayshore Home Health, the New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program and Meals on Wheels.
