UPDATE:

A public visitation will be held at Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB, for the Late Daryl Prince who passed away during the phase where Covid restrictions would not allow a public visitation.  The public visitation will be held August 15th, 2020 from 12-130pm only and will be followed by a private funeral service by family invite only. Current Covid Restrictions and Social Distancing will be followed and Bishops Funeral Home staff will be on hand to assist you. 

 

On March 18, 2020, Daryl Edwin Prince, loving husband of Delisca (Brideau) Prince, passed away the age of 80.

Daryl was born on December 5, 1939, the only child of Edwin and Alma (Dickinson) Prince in Fredericton, NB. He attended FHS and UNB. He had an active career in business and politics. Daryl was an active member of rural planning committees, the Alzheimer’s Society, Solid Waste Commission, Jemseg Fire Department and various other organization throughout the years.

A true gentleman, Daryl’s passion was his family and entertaining in Jemseg. Many people over the years have been the recipient of a meal and other kind gestures. He had a sense of humor and loved conversation of any type with anyone.

Daryl is survived  by his wife Delisca, his daughters "The Prince Girls", Stephanie (John Robichaud), Pamela (Dale McGivney), Natalie (Jody Kaye); grandchildren, Brittanie, Courtney, Lyndsay, and Josh Hallett, Nicole Weaver, Brooklyn Prince, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and special niece Gail Wright.

Due to the current health crisis, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of life is planned to take place when the situation has improved and an announcement will be posted at that time.
