It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edith Mary Louise (Lounsbury) Maillet on Mar 3, 2020 at the age of 75. Edith was born in Fredericton NB on Nov. 12, 1944 where she lived her entire life. She is survived by two sons, Stoney Munn of Fredericton NB, D. Troy Munn (Kelly) of Kingsclear NB,and a daughter Tanya Munn of Maugerville NB. Two loving granddaughters. Amy Munn of Fredericton NB and Stephanie Munn of Saint John NB. One brother Zane Lounsbury (Patricia) of Fredericton NB and sister Julie Skaling of Nackawic NB, special friend Arthur Newman of Fredericton NB and several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Emery Lounsbury, Ina (Curtis) Lounsbury and her best friend and sister Shirly Burgess. Two brother in-laws Peter Skaling and Harvey Burgess. There will be a graveside service and burial at Sunny Bank cemetery at a later date. Bishop's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

A limb has fallen from the family tree.

I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me."

Remember the best times, the laughter, the song.

The good life I lived while I was strong.

Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you.

Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through..

My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest.

Remembering all, how I truly was blessed.

Continue traditions, no matter how small. Go on with your life, don't worry about falls.
