It is with profound sadness the family of Ann Elizabeth Wheeler announces her untimely passing on February 21st, 2020 at the Victoria – QEII, Halifax, NS, after a long struggle post-surgery. She was surrounded by the love of her daughters Kristen and Shannon.

Ann was born in Fredericton on March 26, 1951. Survived by her husband of 35 years Daniel C Watters, her mother in law Marian Watters, her mother Maxine Wheeler; daughters Kristen Bishop (Mike Cotts), Shannon Youssef (Stacho Youssef). Stepchildren Lori, Travis, Andrew and Rachel; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She also leaves her sisters Cathy (Jim Martin), Laurie (Frank Price) and large extended family. Preceded in death by her father Milton Wheeler, daughter Paige Bishop and brother Walter "Buddy" Wheeler.

We have sadly lost our rock, the place we call home. Her legacy and gentle ways will live on in the hearts and minds of all that had the privilege to know her. Ann had many different jobs until finally settling into her career as a lawyer, where her passion for supporting and helping others shone through. She was a gatherer of people, kind, loyal, compassionate and nurturing to all. An avid traveler, tea drinker, music lover, people watcher and sun worshiper, she was a lover of life.

The family would like to thank the staff at the QEII for their kind and compassionate care during her stay.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at The Picaroons Roundhouse, 912 Union Street, Fredericton, NB, on Friday March 6th, 2020: 2pm-6pm

In lieu of flowers keep the people you love close to you, take time to sit by the fire, and just be, she would want you to.

Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton (458-1885) have been entrusted with the funeral arrangements. Online condolences and the sharing of memories may be expressed through www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
