It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Earl Mott of Fredericton N.B. on February 8th 2020. He died peacefully with his family at his side.
Born in Belyea’s Cove, N.B. on August 12th, 1935 son of the late Garnet and Minnie (Logue) Mott.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Frances (Molasky) Mott and his children, Michael Mott, Coleen (Tony) Thibodeau, Darlene (Kevin) Doucette, Sherry (Dale) White, Angela Andrews, and Stephen (Monica) Mott. Fond memories will live on through his much-loved grandchildren Nicole, Adam, Brandon, Quinton, Lucas, Jessica, Megan, Ben, Robyn, Jarred, Cassidy and his five great-grandchildren. Earl is also survived by his brother Percy Mott and sister Judy (Bud) Urguhart.
His favorite thing to do was to spend time ‘down home’ at the lake where he grew up. He loved to hunt, plant Mom’s flowers, and as a life long Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan, Earl was passionate about watching and playing hockey. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his family, and his beloved brother Russell and sister-in-law Irene.
Earl’s family would like to extend a special thank you the nurses of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital 4 South West for taking special care of us and our Dad. Another special thank you to our childhood friend Kevin Mercure for your many visits to check on us during this difficult time.
In respect with Earl’s wishes, there will be no viewing. A Celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, February 15th 2020 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Bishop’s Funeral Home.
