Raymond L. Buchanan passed away on November 15, 2019 in Toronto at the age of 69. He ran a self-employed business known as Buchanan Freight for a number of years. Raymond was an avid golfer and loved travelling with his wife. He loved coming down to Fredericton ad spending time with his family.
He is survived by his three children Kristen Butler, Jennifer (Peter) Olsen and Ryan Buchanan, as well as 11 grandchildren, brother and sisters; Janette Lord, Bonny Maranda (Joe), Heather Golding (Charles), Tracey Muxworthy and Kevin Buchanan as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Anne McFadzen; mother Joanne (Sloat) Buchanan; father George Buchanan; stepmother Beatrice Buchanan; a sister Patricia Buchanan.
A graveside burial will take place in the Dunphy Cemetery, Island View, NB at 2 PM on Saturday December 7th, 2019, followed by a celebration of life from St. Peter’s Church Hall at 2:30 PM.
