Robert 'Bob' Croft passed away at the Veteran's Health Unit in Fredericton, NB on 08 Nov 2019.  Born 1937 in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia to Lawrence and Madeline (Baltzer) Croft he was the last of his immediate family.

From his first teenage job as Sabu the Snake Boy in a Carnival to his final 20 year stint as a Commissionaire, Bobby led a colourful life.  Soldier, Cowboy, Salesman, Tourist Director, Lighthousekeeper,  Scoutmaster, Social Activist, husband, father and Bumpy...he did it all.  He had an affinity for animals of all appendages except maybe the eight legged kind.  He was a Big Game guide out west until a moose saved his life.  He never hunted again.

Predeceased by his parents, his brother, Earl Croft and sister, Marion Seward.  He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Sandra (Steeves) and daughter Deborah (Greg Partington); sons, David (Debbie), and Jonathan (Cilisa), Daughters, Toni, Roberta, Debbie Lynn and sister-in-law Janette Croft in Ontario, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.

The family wants to thank the nursing, kitchen and housekeeping staffs of the VHU for their loving and compassionate care during Bob's final two years.  As long as he had his Frosted Flakes he was a mostly happy and content resident.

Cremation has taken place.  Anyone who would like to offer something in Bob's memory is encouraged to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.  This horrible disease must be defeated.
