He’s remembered lovingly by his wife Joanne (Pomeroy), his daughters and their husbands: Stacie and Todd Cougle and Julie MacPherson and Kevin Godin.   Also remembering their Poppy are Danica and Sophie Godin and Bryn Cougle.  Arnold is also survived by his brothers, Rob (Donna) and Ted (Jean), stepmother Evelyn MacPherson, stepsister Philipa Corning, sister-in-law Cindy MacPherson, sister-in-law Sandra Hawrylak (John), sister-in-law Bernette Burnley, and many beloved nieces and nephews.   Arnold has a close-knit group of friends who will also dearly miss him.

Having been a high school athlete in in his youth, Arnold developed a lifelong love of all sports.  In adulthood he enjoyed basketball, curling and, later, golf.  His true passion for sports was evident in watching his granddaughters play ringette, soccer, rugby, hockey and volleyball.  His granddaughters’ athletic and artistic endeavors never failed to bring him joy.

Arnold’s love of travel and good times is evidenced in all the wonderful trips he and Joanne took together over the years.  Always marked by a lot of laughs and great memories with friends and family.  His appreciation of family, friendship and fun has been passed on to his daughters and will be remembered fondly by many.
