On Wednesday July 10, 2019 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, John Edward "Mickey" Flinn of Marysville passed away at the age of 90. Born in Marysville, he was a son of the late John and Mildred (LaPointe) Flinn. He spent over 25 years employed as a salesman for Chippin Bros. in Fredericton. Mickey loved to hunt and fish, and was a real outdoorsman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Anne; four children John (Barb) Flinn of Taymouth, Scott (Rebecca) Flinn of Marysville, Kim Mahar of Fredericton and Maureen Flinn of Marysville; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister Rosilla St. Pierre of Moncton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his first wife Pearl (Estabrooks) Flinn; a daughter Joyce Marie Hazelwood; a great granddaughter Samara McLaughlin; a son Larry David Flinn; a sister Laura Kidney
His wish was to have no formal service or visitation. A private family interment will be held. Bishop’s Funeral Home, have been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
