Jean Marie Hughes of Fredericton, NB, passed away suddenly at home on July 3rd, 2019 at the age of 89. Jean was the daughter of the late Eldon and Gladys (Stillwell) Hagerman.
She is survived by her only son Wayne Hughes and his wife Suzanne; one granddaughter, Samantha Hughes, special cousins, Gerald and Leonna Stillwell as well as several other cousins and friends. Jean will also be missed by her feline companion "Bingo".
Jean was a member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church, a charter member of Ferne Sewell Women’s Missionary Society and Dominion Life Member of the United Baptist Missionary Union.
A visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Sunday July 7th, 2019 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday July 8th at 2 pm from Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Fredericton, NB. Interment will be held following the service at Fredericton Rural Cemetery.
