At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, on Sunday June 9, 2019, Adrian Aubrey Tomlinson passed away at the age of 64. Born in Liverpool, England, he was a son of Roy Tomlinson and the late Beryl (Aubrey) Tomlinson.

Adrian attended Central Technical School in Toronto, in 1975, where he learned the craft of printing, attaining his certification in Graphic Arts. He spent many years working for Capital Free Press, The Printing Place, both in Fredericton and Worldwide Printing in Boiestown. He also worked as an Inserter for NB Publishing in Fredericton. His passion was listening to and recording music. He spent 16 years volunteering as a newscaster and programmer at CHSR, the local campus radio station. Adrian, in the early 1990’s, volunteered as a Camera Operator for Fundy Cable 10.

He is survived by his beloved wife Dianne; his chosen son Robert Miner (Karen) of Fredericton; grandchildren Mathew Wood (Brittany), Shawn Wood (Samantha), Corey Wood (Jenna); Kendra Leigh Miner (James); great grandchildren Walker Wood, Weston Wood and Mason Wood; four brothers Brian Aubrey of London England, Terry Tomlinson (Linda) of St. John’s, NF, Michael Tomlinson (Ingrid) of Edmonton, AB, David Tomlinson (Fran) of Peterborough, ON, a sister Judith Cholfe (Tony) of Barrie, ON; a niece; several nephews and cousins; their canine family member Rebecca. Apart from his mother, Adrian was also predeceased by his daughter Nadine Wood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 4-7 PM, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on 770 McEvoy Street in Fredericton, NB. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Friday June 14, 2019 at 1:00 PM with The Revd. Canon Kevin M. Stockall officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery, at a later date.
