At the St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto Mr. Wayne Robert Bourgeois passed away on May 15th, 2019 at the age of 52. Born in Fredericton he was a son of Alphonsus Bourgeois and Lorna Sabattis Bourgeois.
Wayne spent most of his life as a long-haul trucker and enjoyed every minute of what he did. He loved to joke, he was generous and was full of life. Enjoyed being with family, but his greatest joy was his three children.
Besides his parents he is survived by his children; Jaron Bourgeois, Gage Paul, Tiara Paul, stepson; Robbie Tomah, brothers and sisters; Peggy (ted), Brad, Tanya, Sally and Billy (Crystal). As well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday May 22nd, and Thursday May 23rd, 2019 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday May 24th at 11 AM. Interment will be in St Anthony’s Cemetery. A reception will he held at the St. Mary’s Entertainment Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your local homeless shelter.
Wayne also donated his organs to Trillium Gift of Life Network and was able to give two people the opportunity to a second chance in life.
