It is with great sadness that the family of Wayne Eric Carroll of Charters Settlement, NB, announce his passing at the Dr Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Sunday May 5th, 2019. He was 62. Born in Doaktown NB, he was the son of the late Guy and Alva (Porter) Carroll.
Wayne was affiliated with the United Church of Canada and worked as an Electric Motor Repair Technician with Electric Motor Service Co. in Fredericton most of his life. He was always the first one on the scene when anyone needed a helping hand, no matter what the task might be. Wayne will be deeply missed by his loving wife Kimberley (Downing) Carroll, one daughter Tanya Lynn Carroll (Matthew Bolton) of Fredericton, two brothers Gregory Carroll (Merrylyn) of Alberta, Jamie Carroll (Terri-Lynn) of Doaktown NB, nieces and nephews; Lori, Jesse, Colter, Skyler, Marcus and Jaden, two brothers-in-law, Timothy Downing (Faye) of Lincoln and Todd Downing (Andrea) of Grand Bay NB, also surviving are extended chosen family members the McFawn’s Bryan, Belinda, Kristen and Jenna.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased one brother Ricky, as well as cousins Darren and Ronnie Porter.
There will be no visitation by request. A private family service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Thursday, May 9th at 1PM with Rev. Brian Curtis officiating. Interment will be held later. Following the service, a reception will be held at the New Maryland Victoria Hall, 466 New Maryland Highway, New Maryland NB.
