With sad hearts, the family of Joseph Adrian Sabattis, announce his passing on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 39. Born September 10, 1979 in Fredericton, he was a son of Roger Paul and Janette Sabattis (Sirois).

Adrian worked for the Kingsclear First Nation at the Nashwaak Counting Fence and always willing to give a helping hand. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, kayaking and snowshoeing. He spent his free time in the woods building camps and maintaining hiking trails for his kids, which he used to teach them outdoor survival skills.

Adrian is survived by his wife, Megan Ginnish; daughter, Amara Sacobie; sons, Aiden Ginnish-Sabattis and Asher Ginnish-Sabattis; his parents, Roger Paul and Janette Sabattis (Sirois); step-father, Claude Sirois; sisters, Megan Armstrong (Paul), Michelle Sabattis and Chantal Sirois; brothers, Jared Paul and Justin McCarthy-Paul. Adrian is also survived by grandparents, Loretta and Arthur Sabattis; mother-in-law, Delores Ginnish-Vautour and father-in-law, Réal Vautour; honorary- sisters, Colleen Sabattis, Sky Sabattis, Shelly Sabattis and honorary- brothers, Jesse Sabattis and Mitchell Sabattis; his Godchild, Pheonix Sabattis; Godfather, Rick Thomas; Godmothers, Jacquelin Sabattis and Roberta Meause, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

He was predeceased by a brother Joshua Sabattis and his paternal grandparents, Walter and Edith Paul.

Visitation for Adrian will be held at 428 Kingsclear Avenue, Kingsclear First Nation on Saturday, December 22 and Sunday, December 23, 2018. The funeral service will be held from St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Kingsclear on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment at a later date.

Memorials to the Mental Health Association of NB would be appreciated by the family.
