The passing of Arthur "Art" Irvine Hazlett of Fredericton occurred Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton on June 20, 1945, he was a son of the late Irvine and Althea (Sinclair) Hazlett.

Art retired from Pepsi Cola Ltd. after 31 years of dedicated service. He was an active and faithful member of Cornerstone Bible Church, Burtts Corner, NB. He was an avid sports fan and loved Salmon fishing.

Art is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 28 years, Wanda Jones; sons, Jeffrey (Cara) Hazlett, Timothy (Sherri) Hazlett and Jamie Hazlett; step-sons, Christopher Jones and Dwayne (Rachel) Jones; grandchildren Lucas, Brady, Graeme, Justin, Zach, Tyson, Levi and Hayden; two brothers, Clair (Donna) Hazlett and Darrell (Kim) Hazlett.

Aside from his parents, Art was predeceased by his brother, Allison "Al" Hazlett and step-father, Alphonse Perry.

There will be no visitation by request of the family. A service celebrating the life of Art Hazlett will be held from Cornerstone Bible Church, 668 Rte. 104, Burtts Corner, NB on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Steve Matthews officiating. Interment in the Burtts Corner Cemetery at a later date. Memorials to the Cornerstone Bible Church Building Fund or to a favorite charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
