The family of Calvin Eugene Davidson wish to announce his passing at White Rapids Nursing Home on November 20, 2018, at the age of 84. Calvin was born in Saint John, NB, and was the son of the late Joseph and Bertha (Palmer) Davidson.
Calvin was a fireman for 38 years with the Oromocto Fire Department. He had a great sense of humor and especially loved spending time with his family.
Calvin will be deeply missed by his children; Stephen (Lori), Joe (Beth), Karen (Robert), Lori (Steve), Michael (Stacey) and Wendy (Dale), 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, 1 brother; George Davidson, 4 sisters; Helen Thorburn, Linda Friesen (Robert), Lois MacIntosh (David) and Nancy Green (Brian), as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Sandra, grandson Michael Jr., sisters Patsy Seymour and Lorna Flanagan and his dog Kelly.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. The funeral service will be held Monday November 26 at 2 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wandlyn Snelgrove officiating. A reception will be held at Bishops Funeral Home immediately following the service.
