The passing of Donald Robert "Pete" McSorley of Island View, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Pete was 68. Born in Fredericton on July 5, 1950, he was the only son of the late Philip M. and Winifred O. (Hovey) McSorley.

Pete was the owner and operator of Professional Electric.

He was an active member of the "Good Ol’ Boys Club".

Pete is survived by his wife Brenda Boyd; his children, Dawne Leger (Steve), Michael McSorley-Mulholland (Krista Lynn Mulholland), Peter McSorley-Mulholland and Morgan McSorley; his sisters, Phyllis Woodland (Junior), Beverly Hobbs (Donald), Janet Amirault (Mike) and Marjorie Dickinson (Ralph); two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

No visitation by request. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Tuesday evening, November 27, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We encourage you to use this time to share a story or some meaningful thoughts of the life of Pete McSorley.
