It is with sadness that the family of Allan Edward Stewart of Fredericton, NB, announce his passing at the Veterans Health Unit on October 13, 2018.  Allan was born in Barrie Scotland in 1918 and was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret Stewart.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helga (Riepegerste); four sons, Joel Stewart, Robert Allan Stewart, Brian Stewart and Doug Stewart; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; one brother (Frank Stewart) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Allan was predeceased by his first wife, Hattie; one daughter, Linda Stewart; four brothers and two sisters.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held on October 25, at 2PM in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Veterans Health Unit for their wonderful and compassionate care that was given to Allan during his stay there.
