Carol Ann Adams
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Adams (Bennett) age 80 of Fredericton on October 7th, 2018 at hospice House Fredericton. Born in Fredericton on November 22nd, 1937, Carol was the daughter of the late Lillian and Lorne Bennett.
As a military spouse Carol lived in various locations throughout Canada and spent 3 years in Germany. Carol returned to her hometown of Fredericton in 1978 upon her husband’s retirement from the RCAF. Carol had many interests and hobbies. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, crocheting, knitting, doing puzzles and spending weekends camping at Mick Mack Trailer Club. What brought Carol the greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the most loving and Caring Nanny.
Carol will be deeply missed by her children, Robert Lorne (Tammy) of Lincoln, Rodney Donald (Alison) of Rothesay, Roxann Elizabeth (Dana) of Fredericton and her 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert Frederick Adams, brothers; Charles and Edward Bennett, great granddaughter Kristy Dawn Adams and her two special companions, her kitty cats Clover and Sammy.
There will be a graveside service on Friday October 12, 2018 at 2 PM in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension, immediately followed by a reception at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton.
Carols family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and volunteers at Hospice House for the special care provided to Carol during her final days. She was treated with great compassion and respect.
