At York Care Center in Fredericton on Sunday September 9, 2018 Joan Elaine Brewer passed away at the age of 84.

 Born in Fredericton, she was a daughter of the late John and Thelma (Burpee) Tims. Joan enjoyed her family immensely and especially loved her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons Andrew Brewer of Lincoln and David Brewer of Fredericton; five grandchildren Chris, Jeff, Ryan, Holly and Adam; a sister Diane Stillwell (Doug) of Fredericton; a brother Bob Tims of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by a daughter Elaine McLeod; a sister Jeanette Myers.

The family will receive friends at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton on Wednesday September 12, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Thursday September 13, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be held in the Rural Cemetery.

Memorial contributions made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NB would be appreciated by the family.
