The passing of Andy (André) Alfred Lebel of Lincoln, NB occurred on Friday, August 3, 2018. Born November 9, 1936 in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, he was the son of the late Joseph and Blanche (Guimont) Lebel. His wife, the former Joan L. Bubar predeceased him in 2013.

Andy had a long and distinguished career with the Canadian Armed Forces (35 Years) at Canadian Forces Base St. Hubert, Saint-Hubert, Quebecand upon his retirement, he continued working on the Military Base as a Civilian Worker. He also served as a UN Peacekeeper and was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion and The Knights of Columbus.

Andy attended St. Francis of Assisi Parish Church and also Lincoln Baptist Church.

Andy leaves behind his son Todd (Connie), daughter Carol and son Steve; granddaughters, Kimberley Ann (Evan) and Natasha Lee (Shawn); great-grandchildren, Kylee Ann, Lianna Lee, Gypsy Rose and Dahlia. Also surviving are four siblings, Thérèse (Raymond), Madelaine (Jacques), Denise (Grislain) and Michel (Diane); nieces, nephews, extended family on the Bubar side as well as a host of friends.

The family will receive visitors at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday evening, August 10, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2130 Rte. 102, Lincoln, NB on Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 AM. Father Maria Arokiam Chinnappan will be the officiant. Interment in the Nashwaak Village Cemetery immediately following the service.
