It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Roy Bannister on July 7,2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton.
Born December 2nd, 1933 to the late Thomas and Olive Bannister and devoted husband to the late Ethel Bannister.
Roy survived by his son Brian and 5 grandchildren Amanda, Matthew, Connor, Braeden, Aaron and two great grandchildren Miyah and Harmony.
Roy was a member of the New Brunswick Carpenters Union until his retirement in 1996. Roy was an avid gardener and enjoyed his time spent outdoors.
Visitation is at Bishop's Funeral Home Tuesday July 10, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral will be held from Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday July 11,2018 at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either The Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
