At the young age of 61, Keith Reginald Stewart, of McLeod Hill, New Brunswick passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on the evening of July 5th after a brave battle with esophageal cancer.

He is survived by his spouse, Becky Moore, and his daughters; Jessica (Kevin) Overdulve and Amanda. Born on November 16th, 1956 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he is the son of Frank (Vera Irion) and the late Grace Stewart. Keith grew up in Lincoln, New Brunswick with his five brothers; Steven (Gloria), Peter (Gail), the late David (Tammy), Johnny (Rachel Leger), and his "mirror" twin Karl (Wendy Harding). As well as his chosen sister, Margo Biggs, and their respective families.

Keith will be remembered as a loving, devoted father and spouse that would drop everything a moment’s notice for his girls, as well as his friends and family. An avid outdoorsman who loved camping, canoeing, fishing, hunting, and attending outdoor concerts and festivals throughout the summer with his tight knit circle of friends.

His keen skill as a carpenter and long career as a hardwood floor installer was evident in his beautiful home, which he designed and built himself over 30 years ago. He took great pride in all his projects, from renovations to building bookshelves. He spent many days out at the fishing camp on A Lake, volunteering his time to ensure that the camp was maintained for future generations of Stewarts to enjoy as he did.

The visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home on Monday, July 9th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. His private burial will be held at the Lower Lincoln Cemetery on Tuesday, July 10th at 11:00 am.

For those who wish, the family would appreciate donations in Keith`s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.

The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the palliative team of physicians and the Fredericton Extramural team of nurses for their dedication and compassionate care of our father during these last couple months that ensured his comfort during his final days.
