At the age of 102, Carol Audrey Babb-Gamblin completed life’s journey with grace and dignity. Audrey passed away peacefully at York Care Centre, Fredericton on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Born in Amherst, NS, she was a daughter of the late George Perley Teed and Amelia Ellen (Patriquin) Teed.

She was known as a dedicated and much loved Registered Nursing Assistant during her working career. Audrey was Baptist by faith.

She leaves behind her daughter Gail Armstrong of Fredericton and daughter-in-law, Gloria Gilmore (Harry) of Fredericton as well as a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Aside from her parents, Audrey was predeceased by husbands, Dr. Russell Babb and Gordon Gamblin; a son, Trueman Kent; son-in-law Leonard Armstrong; sisters Florence Miller and Jean Patriquin; brothers Cecil, Russell, Curtis and Carman Teed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, immediately followed by a memorial service in Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Burtt’s Corner Cemetery.

The family wish to express their deepest appreciation to the hard working and compassionate staff, Doctors and Nurses at York Care Centre, especially Matthew, for your loving and compassionate care shown to Audrey while she was a resident. Thank you, Gloria, for your many visits and for being an amazing support to Gail and her family. Your warm smile and friendly touch made a great impact. The Personal Support Workers were just a blessing and we will never forget you.
