Alfred William Ball of New Maryland passed away at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Monday June 18th, 2018 at the age of 88. Born on October 3rd, 1929 in New Maryland NB, he is the son of the late Edgar and Janet (Morgan) Ball.
Baptist by faith, Alfred was a carpenter by trade who also worked as a mail carrier, worked in the woods and was known to be an avid gardener.
Survived by his wife Lois (Daniel) Ball, three daughters; Anna (Frank) Waterston of Penobsquis NB, Marilyn (Tim) Bird of New Maryland, Kimberly (Sheldon) Moore of Penobsquis NB, one son Kevin (Wanda) Ball of Quispamsis, one sister Ardith Burridge (Robert) of Fredericton, six grandchildren, Colin, Shauna, Terri-Lynn, Leanne, Christine, Kendra, four great-great grandchildren, Febe, Grace, Kaden and James, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Alfred was predeceased by a brother Edgar Ball.
Resting at the Nasonworth Baptist Church 505 Phillips Rd, Nasonworth, NB, on Wednesday June 20th, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. PM. A funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday, June 21st, 2018 at 1PM with Pastor. David M. Gray officiating. Following a reception, interment will take place in the St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church Cemetery.
