It is with sad hearts that the family of Jean Marie Paul announce her passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 17, 2018. Born in Saint John NB she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Margaret (Perot) Knockwood and adoptive parents, late Samuel and Bessy Brooks.
Jean attended St. Anthony’s Parish, was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 25 years. Jean had an open-door policy to all her family and friends.
Jean will be deeply missed by her two sons, Josh (Sarah) and Joe, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Payton, Jaeda, Alex, Scarlett, Ashley, Mark, Michael, Melissa, Ethan, Markus, Teegan, Jared, Khloe, Karlie, Ryder and Shaniah, sisters, Hazel (Keith), Shirley (Eric), Julie (Peter), Diana, Margaret, Jackie, Theresa, Norma, Georgina, Kitty, Marjorie, Doris, Ireen and Marie, Brothers. Ivan and Ernie, daughter-in-law Sharon Knockwood, as well as 22 God children, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Leslie Paul, daughter Cheryl, son Darren, brothers, Isaac Joe, Gary, Ray, James and Roy and sister Barbara.
Resting at her home at 167 Maliseet Drive, St. Mary’s First Nation on Wednesday and Thursday June 20 & 21, 2018. A Mass of Christian burial will be held from St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on Friday June 22nd at 11 am with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will be held in St. Anthony’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in memory of Jean may be made to the Diabetes association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
