It is with sad hearts that the family of Murray John Wheaton announce his passing at the Oromocto Public Hospital on June 10, 2018.

Murray was born in Fredericton on April 8, 1938, the son of the late John and Mae (Blair) Wheaton.

Murray was Catholic by faith and for many years was a custodian at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital and the former Victoria Public Hospital where he made many lasting friendships.

He was an avid bowler and was a member of a number of Bowling Leagues over the years. A lover of music, playing the guitar was one of his greatest enjoyments.

Murray leaves behind his two children, Shelley Wheaton (Stephen Mowry) and Jason Wheaton (Amanda Paul) both of Fredericton; 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla, Cayden, Chloe and Hannah; a sister, Doreen Williams (Allan) of Burton; nieces and nephews. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Jenny Madeline (Clark) Wheaton.

Final funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
