On Friday June 1st, 2018, Mrs Olive A. McConaghy of Fredericton passed away at Thomas Hall, Shannex. She was 89. Born in Woodland Maine, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lida (Smith) Southard.
She is survived by her 4 sons, Donald (Margie) of Cape Breton, Andrew (Barbara) of Ontario, Grant of South Carolina, and Douglas of Ontario, 1 daughter, Lida Godin (Marc) of Nash Creek. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren 2 sisters, Louella and Hellen as well as nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Herbert P. McConaghy a brother Edward and sisters, Evelyn, Lida and Deanie.
There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 6th, 2018, at 11 Am, in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
