It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Donald Carten of Fredericton, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on May 20th, 2018. Born in Zealand NB he was a son of the late Milfred and Myrtle (Brewer) Carten.
He will be deeply missed by his children Shelley McLean (Leonard), Sherry Leal (Roberto), Michael Carten (Audrey) and Benjamin Carten, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as special friends Barb and Phyllis.
He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Carten, son Donny Wayne Carten and brothers Fred and Ernest Carten.
A Celebration of life will be held on Friday May 25th at 2 PM. from Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road. Interment will be immediately following the service in the Lower Hainsville Cemetery.
