It is with broken hearts that the family of Rev. George Howe announce his peaceful home going on May 21, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Saint John, NB on July 27th, 1947 he was the son of the late Ernest & Bessie Howe.
         

George served as a minister with the United Pentecostal Church International for over 50 years.  He pastored in Campobello NB, Baie Verte NFLD, & Stellarton NS.  Finishing his ministry, he returned to his hometown of Hoyt NB. 
         

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joan;  favorite daughter Karla (Marty) Cole; favorite son, Dwight;  grandchildren, Martina (Matthew) Stephens, Brady (Hayley Grant) Cole, Tyler Hampton, Tristan & Mackenzie Howe; great grandchildren, Mattea & Mileigh Stephens & Atticus Cole; siblings, Bernice Murphy, Ida Spragg, Mary (Vernon) Bone, Donald Roberts, Douglas (Jeannine), Marion (Howard) Harris, Eldon (Lora), Helen (David) Vaughan & Nellie (Heinz) Schmidt as well as many beloved nieces, nephews & cousins.
         

George is predeceased by his parents and sisters Ruby, Della & Marguerite. Many heartfelt thanks to the nurses of 4SE, Dr. A. Russell and Dr. Goodyear for the compassionate care given. 
           

Visitation will take place on Friday, May 25th at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing St. Fredericton, NB from 2-4 and 6-9.  Home going service will take place Saturday, May 26th at Capital Community Church at 1pm.  Reception to follow after the service at the church. Interment for family members at the Hampton Rural Cemetery, Hampton NB.
