It is with great sadness the family of Manford Harry Morgan of Fredericton announces his passing on May 19th, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Born in Nasonworth January 22nd, 1930, he was the son of the late William Morgan and Mae (Mowrey) Morgan.
Manford was a humble man who enjoyed the simple things in life, loved nature and had a keen sense of humour. He was a loyal employee of NB Tel for 40 years and a faithful member of Capital Community Church.
Manford is survived by his loving wife Doris of 66 years, daughters; Deborah Curtis(David), Nancy Griffiths (Everett), Janice Clowater (Michael), son Stephen (Barb). He was grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his brother William (Muriel), his sisters; Ilene Price, Esther Ryan and Lorraine MacNeill, several nephews, and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers-in-law; Warren Price, Fred Ryan, and Darrell MacNeill.
Visitation will be held on Monday May 21st, 2018 at Capital Community Church from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Capital Community Church on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 at 2 PM with Pastor Raymond Woodward officiating, assisted by Pastor Jack Leaman and Rev. Joe Beesley. A reception will follow the service. Interment will be held at the Nasonworth Baptist Cemetery.
