It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Eugene "Mac" McInroy announce his passing on May 8th, 2018, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on July 20th, 1948, in Minto, NB, Steve was a son of the late William and Ruby (Power) McInroy. 

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Judy (Gallagher) and daughters Stephanie (Brian Lewis) of Riverview, NB, and Megan (Sanjeev Kaushal) of Mississauga, ON. The brightest part of his life was being the proud Papa to his 3 adoring grandsons: Nolan, Milo and Xavier. He is also survived by his siblings Sheila Talbot (Frank), Lauchlan, Cameron (May), Janet Reilly (Frank) and Alan. In addition to his parents, Steve was predeceased by his brothers Father Robert (CSC), John and William and his sister Roseann. 

Steve retired from the Fire Department in 2001 after 26 years of service. He was a long standing and proud member of the Fredericton Local 1053 of the International Association of Fire Fighters. 

Visitation for Steve McInroy will be held on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 2130 Route 102 Highway, Lincoln, NB. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the church on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11 AM with Father Maria Arokiam and Father Bill Brennan as Celebrants. Burial will be held in the adjoining church cemetery later.
