Douglas Crawford Downing passed away at the Veteran’s Health Unit, Fredericton, NB on Friday, May 4, 2018.

Born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1918, son of Albert and Bertha Downing. He was a quiet, modest man by nature with a dry sense of humor.

 Aside from his parents, Doug was predeceased by his wife Hazel, son Eric (Catherine) and son-in-law Jason (Ann).

Survived by son Tom (Sedi), daughters Ann Herron and Joan (Mark), 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

By families request there will be no funeral or visitation. A graveside service will be held in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at 2PM.
